For many who came to Canada from Iran, this week’s events were a stark reminder of why they left that country. For others, who don’t follow events there, it exposed the shocking reality of Iran’s fascist dictatorship and its total disregard for human life.
Let’s get one thing straight: launching a missile at a scheduled civilian aircraft with an identifying transponder departing from their own capital city’s international airport was not an accident, it was a crime. One at the end of a long list of crimes this regime has perpetrated against innocent civilians in Iran and abroad for decades.
