So why are the Liberals so determined to get on the Security Council?
Then it hit me, it’s because the “SecCon” is the perfect reflection of Liberal foreign policy – all talk and no action.
The Security Council is the high temple of virtue signalling. Its members only have to care, they don’t actually have to achieve anything – exactly the Trudeau approach to every issue.
Say the right things, tweet the correct amount of indignation, throw other people’s money at the problem, then leave. Never have to get your hands dirty.
